Let us come before him with thanksgiving and sing joyful songs of praise. It’s a natural overflow of your love and gratitude for God to sing to Him. But if you’re a follower of Jesus, you will want to sing to Him. There are many verses in Scripture that instruct us to sing to the Lord.
